💸 Redemption: Exiting a Portfolio
Redeeming allows users to retrieve their share of the vault's assets by burning their pTokens. The protocol offers two modes to accommodate different user needs:
Fast Redeem: This is the quickest option. A user burns their pTokens and receives their share of the vault's assets exactly as they are at that moment. The assets may be out of balance relative to the target weights, but this mode requires no extra fee and is executed instantly.
Balanced Redeem: For a small fee, this mode first triggers a rebalance of the vault to its target weights. Once the vault is balanced, the user receives their assets in the intended proportions. This ensures a clean exit at the portfolio's ideal composition.
